hola que tal, soy nuevo en este servidor. Soy un jugador de lineage peruano. Y hace poco me entere de su servidor y lo vi bueno y me enrole.

mi ping esta en un promedio de 250, qeria saber si eso era normal. Aca cuento con un servicio de telefonica de 600 kb's.

mira yo soy de argentina y tengo ping de 309, todo depende del proveedor que tengs y las rutas que use

A mí me está botando ping de 6080. No es joda. Que arreglen eso por favor !!!

253, but its ok for me. Lagging when more then 900 ppl online on server... i think server needs dual Xeon with raid.... not P4...

We have the server in 2 PCs:

PC 1:
Mother intel. D915GAG.
P4 3.2 800
4Gb. Ram DDR.
2 Disco Sata 80Gb.

PC 2:
Mother Intel. D955XCS.
Procesador Intel Pentium D 840
8GB. Ram DDR2.
2 Disco Sata 80Gb.

Captain, try puting 1 Gb of RAM in you PC and the lag surelly fall down.

A good practice when you play in places where are too many player (like TOI), pulse P (minimun frame and video settings). With this your PC compute only the playes more close to you, and the lag are minimized.

Hehe ;) , my friend, i have more then 2GB RAM and prosessor more then 3.6 GHz on my PC and i always playing on low video settings - this is not a problem...
Even my ping 253 it is not a problem.
I have good playtime with no lag (or so small) when server has less then 800-900 Players online. (it is approximately, i think so, coz sometime GM announce how much Ppl online. When GM announce 1100-1200 I allready have ultimate lag).
It depends on two mains - bad my internet connection and low server power for more then 1000 players.

Now admins install NEW internet connection and I have 4 giga internet connection ADSL. Its good for All (me and game) Right? Ping 253 now is not a problem, coz players online less then 800-900 i have no lag.
Then what else? Yeah, right, Server power... GoD sais server have GOOD RAM SATA disks and Prosessors. I dnt want to teach our admins and GMs, they works good. I just have small problem with lag, when players online more then 800-900. I try to help admins to find solution. Thats it. And all i need - all time no lag playing.

I know i know, admins works hard and some ppl asks me i have no lag all time. Its good, but i have. And not only me, in game chat i often see ppl crying "Laaaagggg".

P.S. to GoD.
I think, U know, top LA2 server with more then 1200 players online has power like this - DUAL XEON 3.6 800fsb | 2MBcache | 4-6GB RAM | 100Mbps ic.
And dnt make it for me, NO (may be only for all players)! Just informations. U rule the server u make the server. anyway im playing.....

And some infos and asking, GoD.
U wrote one server computer have MB D915GAG . Look it here. (http://www.intel.com/products/motherboard/d915gag/index.htm)
Other MB with 8GB ram u wrote, D955XCS (http://www.intel.com/products/motherboard/d955xcs/index.htm) , more better.
BUT this two MB is not for server solutions. It is for Desktop solutions (for gamer Desktop).
Intel server solutions is Xeon. look it here (http://www.intel.com/products/server/motherboard/index.htm).

nice answer Captain. I think the solution for the "lag" problem when several players are in game is only the donations... to make a better server or sponsors...

Soy de colombia, inicie el 30 o 31 de diciembre y tenia un ping de 280, luego cuando icieron los cambios el ping cambio a 52, aunque apesar de esto tenía lag mayor que cuando tenia 280 auqnue jugaba sin problemas, pero ahora volvio el ping a 280 y el lag es insoportable desde hace tres dias, en la tarde me es imposible jugar, creo que es por la cantidad de usuarios online, pues en la noche la situación mejora.

La verdad me a gustado mucho este server, y quiesera seguir jugando normalmente.

me ha sucedido el mismo problema de las tardes. Es casi imposible jugar, un lag de mas de 20 segundos talvez y por momentos el juego no responde y se desonecta del servidor, de esta forma si es casi imposible jugar. Y no es cuestion de ping ya que el ping se mantiene igual todo el dia.

esa cierto que la pc qie tienen como server son mas que poderosas, es mas muy pocos deben tener esa pc en su casa, pero como dice captain son desktop creo que a lo que apunta captain es a que es eso, pero la verdad no conozco ningun server en la argentina que use arquetectura server para este game, aca los costos no dan, creo que si ayudamos todos con la pc que hay se puede manejar el lag

Es cuestion de voluntad nomas.

i understand that the pc server are very powerfull, but just like captain say are for desktop architecture, i dont know any server in argentina whit architercture of a server for the l2 server, in argentina 3 dollar = 1 peso , and the cost are impossible, but i think that if all of the player help we can make a better server whit a no lag or a minimun lag
